RENTAL TERMS / rental-2026-09-15-v3
Reserve now. Rent when you need it.
01
RentBot is a division of Execom. Payments are collected through Execom's Stripe account in Canadian dollars. Your receipt identifies RentBot and your reservation reference.
02
We accept paid reservations for future rental dates that our approved procurement plan can support. Robots may be acquired after your reservation. Each available slot is backed by a recorded in-hand date and a limited unit allocation. The calendar includes turnaround time and a rolling 365-day limit.
03
Your reservation is confirmed when the initial payment succeeds. The quote and dated payment schedule you accept form part of this agreement. By accepting, you authorize the disclosed future charges to the payment method saved at checkout. We do not increase the price or charge for extra services without your agreement.
04
Operated rentals include the stated operator time, Calgary delivery and setup. We will obtain the stated commercial liability coverage before service. Insurance is not represented as already bound during the procurement period. If we cannot supply the reserved service on the promised date, we will notify you and refund all amounts paid, with no substitution or date change unless you accept it.
05
Self-serve rentals require the disclosed damage waiver and a separate security authorization or refundable security deposit. The waiver is a waiver of our own claim, not an insurance policy. It excludes intentional damage, reckless or prohibited use, water damage, unauthorized modifications, theft and total loss unless separately covered in writing. Customer responsibility for covered accidental damage is capped at the amount on your quote.
06
Security authorization is requested close to dispatch, subject to card-network expiry. A fresh authorization or a separately accepted refundable deposit may be required if the authorization expires before return. We do not charge alleged damage without documented agreement or a written determination supported by evidence and five business days to respond.
07
Use is limited to the agreed venue and safe operating conditions. Humanoids require an exclusion zone and qualified operation. Self-serve G1 requires prior approval. We review event plans before service; if we cannot safely provide the agreed experience, we offer an agreed alternative or a full refund.
08
Your customer-specific cancellation policy is included with your quote and payment schedule. No contract term limits statutory rights. Contact us through the site's contact form with your reservation reference for changes or cancellation.
Consumer cancellation
Cancel free of charge until 48 hours before the start time. Everything paid is returned.
Cancel after that and we retain the lesser of one day's rate or 25% of the booking, which is disclosed at checkout as a priced cancellation option rather than a penalty.
Do not show up and the first day's charge applies.
If we cannot supply the robot on the promised date, you may cancel and every amount paid is refunded within 15 days.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory cancellation rights under provincial consumer protection legislation.
For self-serve consumers the free cancellation deadline is seven days before start, instead of 48 hours.
Business cancellation
Cancel more than 30 days before the start date and 25% of the contract is retained.
Cancel 8 to 30 days before the start date and 50% is retained.
Cancel 7 days or less before the start date and 100% is retained.
These amounts are a genuine pre-estimate of the operator, scheduling and displaced-booking cost of a cancellation, not a penalty.
A certificate of insurance naming us as additional insured is accepted in place of a security hold on approved accounts.
